Pleck neighbourhood Team Update |
||
|
Resident Good evening, We would like to wish all residents of the Pleck neighbourhoods a very happy new year from the Pleck neighbourhood team.
All officers and Our DNO (Dedicated neighbourhood officers) have been very busy over the new year period and back out patrolling our streets. Our priority areas have also been heavily patrolled including Wallows lane, Jessel Road, Hollyhedge Lane and also Ramsay house.
We had our PACT meeting this week where we discussed community issues and also priorities they would wish to put forward. It was agreed to focus on the current Pleck priorities that we have that can be seen on the WMP website under Pleck neighbourhood team.
Following on from the PACT meeting we also agreed a future date and location for our new PACT meeting which will be held at Pleck Methodist Church, Bescot road, Walsall, WS2 9AD on Wednesday 22/04/26 from 17:00- 19:00.
We have also done several stop searches for strong suspicions and good reasons in which drugs have been recovered.
Pleck Neighbourhood team also worked alongside the St Matthews team in dealing with one of the biggest cannabis cultivations in recent years.
Officers also attended some events alongside other members of the community this week at St Johns Church by attending their Sunday service and their Smiley club.
On the 12/01/2026 a grey bmw estate was stolen from the Holiday inn express. Personal items were also inside the vehicle and were taken.
Cannabis was smelt coming from a Honda civic on Reservoir Place. The car was pulled over and searched. A small amount of cannabis was found. This was dealt with via community resolution.
A massive thankyou to all of our residents for the help and support the officers receive each and every day from the community and our partners.
