Appeal for witnesses following robbery – Reading

We are appealing for witnesses following a robbery incident in Reading.

At around 6.40pm on Saturday (17/1), the victims, two boys aged in their teens, were cycling their bikes from Bridge Street towards Katesgrove Lane in Reading using the underpass under the A329. 

They were stopped in the underpass by two men. One of the men produced a bladed article causing the victims to run away. The men stole their dark-coloured push bikes and cycled towards Katesgrove Lane.

The first offender is described as a black man in his twenties, around 6ft tall, with a small beard, wearing all black with a beanie hat.

The second offender is described as a white man in his twenties, around 6ft tall, wearing a green coat and blue jeans with a beanie hat.

An investigation has been launched.
