Burglary updates for this week

Good Evening Ealing Common Residents, 

Just a quick update…… there have been no reported Burglary offences on the ward this week. We have been working hard to combat this crime type, we have seen high numbers over the festive period. Proactive patrols have been taking place both in uniform and plain clothes and we have also been speaking to residents of high target areas. Good crime prevention has taken place from both us and residents and this has made Ealing Common a hard target. 

Please continue to be vigilant, reporting any suspicious activity. If you see suspicious characters hanging around, let us know - 999 if happening there and then or 101 / online if it has already happened. We need your support to target these offenders. Advice still applies, please make sure you lock your property, all windows and doors before going out. Check it and double check. Security lights are a great tool to put in your garden, most offences occur in the early evening before people return home from work and entry is gained from the rear.
