Local Bobbies - 2nd Birthday

IT'S OUR BIRTHDAY!! 🎂  - today marks two years since the inception of Local Bobbies. We are a resource within the Neighbourhood Policing Teams that are dedicated to a particular area, in my case this is Central Gosport which covers Elson, Forton, Leesland, Newtown, Brockhurst and Privett. Whilst we also deal with day to day crime and anti-social behaviour we also tackle long term issues that have an impact on our communities.

We liaise closely with other departments within the police as well as our partner agencies such as Housing, schools and support groups. There is an area of Gosport I'm looking at, more details soon, that is crying out for more patrols, better lighting, areas of it need clearing and generally making it a safer place for everybody to be. Part of my role is to bring resources together to make this happen.
