Local News - 16/01 (Late, sorry)

Morning everyone.

Yesterday was a busy one, so we're all on catch up!

Firstly, I wish we could explain all we do, but media law and a total fear of annoying CID prevents me! So here's a vague but informative update.

Yesterday was a lot of patrolling, for a reason. The residents of the undisclosed area, were very reassured and nothing happened in the end. Job well done. Hope that clarifies some of what we we doing.

Something I can tell you of is that when we were on way to said mysterious area, we got flagged down by a small shop owner. (The shop was a small business, not the owner was small). It was alleged that a male had entered his store and helped himself to some alcohol, the scoundrel. Pointing him out, the blue lights came on and we caught up with said suspect with the alcohol in hand. Whoopsie. It was only £6.98 so we were going to just give a strong waggly finger of advice and a banning letter, but guess what… He was also wanted x2 for other offences! Win win for team awesome. Getting to custody, he added to his crimes by breaking the electronic signing machine thingy (technical term) and putting the met 300 notes out of pocket.
