*** Attempted Burglary Alert***

Dear All,

We would like to make you aware of a recent Attempted Burglary in Selsdon & Addington Village Ward.

On Wednesday 14 January 2026 at approximately 18:40 hours, officers were called to Queenhill Road, Selsdon following a disturbance reported by a resident.

The resident stated they were at home asleep when they were awoken by a noise coming from their patio doors. Upon hearing the noise, the resident immediately turned on the lights inside the property, which caused the suspect(s) to make off. The resident then contacted the police.

Subsequent checks of the premises revealed that the rear garden light had been damaged, believed to have been caused by the suspect(s).

No further damage was reported, and no suspects were seen at the time.
