Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Following concerns relating to exploitation and cuckooing at the individual’s previous address in Kenton, the vulnerable person has now been safely moved to alternative accommodation. This relocation was completed in close cooperation with Social Services and relevant partner agencies to ensure the individual’s immediate safety and wellbeing.
The new placement has been assessed as suitable and secure, with appropriate support arrangements in place. Ongoing engagement with Social Services will continue to provide monitoring, stability, and access to any required care or safeguarding measures.
All actions have been taken in the best interests of the individual, with their safety and welfare remaining the primary priority.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
