🌟 Northwood Community Policing Update – This Week’s Highlights! 🌟 Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team has been hard at work tackling crime and engaging with the community. Here’s what we’ve achieved this week: ✅ Major Progress on Shoplifting Cases Louise Meldrum – Following a detailed case prepared by our team, Meldrum was charged and remanded for three offences of shoplifting, stealing over £4,000 worth of goods from Boots, Northwood. She has now been sentenced to six months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months.Danny Harris – Arrested and charged with six offences of shoplifting, totalling approximately £700 worth of goods from various stores. We’ve submitted an application for a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) to prevent further offending. Harris pleaded not guilty and has been bailed until March.Casey Evans – Arrested and charged with four offences of shoplifting from Tesco, Northwood, stealing around £1,000 worth of goods. A CBO application has also been submitted. Evans is due in court tomorrow. 🔍 Further Investigations Underway Our team has identified additional suspects linked to thefts in Northwood. Case files are nearly complete, and arrests will follow shortly. 👥 Community Engagement We’ve been out in the community listening to your concerns and working together to improve our neighbourhood: Street Briefing – Discussed Ward Panel priorities in Linksway, Northwood.Community Meeting – Met with local councillors, nursery representatives, and businesses to address issues around anti-social behaviour, thefts, and rubbish.
