Joint SNT Patrols Deliver Results Across West Area |
||
|
On Friday 9 January 2026, Norwood Green SNT and Southall Green SNT worked in close partnership with Hayes SNT and Chiswick SNT to conduct joint border patrols across the West Area, targeting suspects linked to high-value and numerous robberies, thefts, and burglaries.
The joint patrols focused on intelligence-led locations where offenders were believed to be operating across borough boundaries. This collaborative approach strengthened visibility, disrupted criminal activity, and maximised the use of shared intelligence between teams.
As a direct result of these patrols, two individuals were located in Havelock Estate. The estate is known to house a significant number of rough sleepers, and officers carried out the engagement professionally and sensitively while maintaining a clear focus on crime prevention and detection.
The operation demonstrates the effectiveness of cross-borough working, proactive patrols, and targeted enforcement in tackling serious acquisitive crime. By working together, the SNTs were able to identify suspects linked to multiple offences and take positive action to protect local communities.
This successful deployment highlights the ongoing commitment of Norwood Green, Southall Green, Hayes, and Chiswick SNTs to keeping neighbourhoods safe, disrupting offenders who operate across borders, and ensuring that intelligence is acted upon swiftly and effectively.
