The South Stevenage Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) has now set their policing priorities for the first few months of 2026. These are the issues that residents have said were causing them the most concern. NPTs work alongside partner agencies, including Stevenage Borough Council to focus on solving long and short-term neighbourhood issues, such as anti-social behaviour, theft, speeding and drug-related crime. They also support response officers and detective teams where required, with warrants and drug operations.

The following priorities have now been agreed for the next four months: Neighbourhood Inspector for Stevenage, William Rogers-Overy said: “Our priority is to work closely with the community to address the issues that matter most locally, while continuing to respond to everyday policing needs, wider force priorities and any urgent situations that arise. “We truly appreciate everyone who shared their views through our priority setting survey and encourage residents to keep talking to us about what’s important in their neighbourhoods.” | ||
