Crime Alert - Theft from a Vehicle

Dear Residents

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a theft from a car from AUCKLAND ROAD SCUNTHORPE

The incident occurred between 1630 on 10/01/2026 - 1830 12/01/2026. The offender(s) approached a vehicle parked on the driveway and gained entry to the interior, emptying the glovebox leaving items on the floor and seats.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 26*5070

Alternatively you could call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. You don’t have to leave your name and you may even receive a reward.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being broken into, please read through the below advice -

Keep the vehicle locked at all times, and ensure you double lock it.

Make sure that your vehicle alarm is set.

Do not leave any valuables or "interesting" items on display

Don't leave tools in a van over night.

If possible park your vehicle on a drive or as close to your home as possible.

When away from Home Park in a busy, well overlooked area. If the car will be there after dark try to find somewhere illuminated
