Yesterday was an awesome day connecting with our community at the train station exit on York Road! Our Valentines SNT team teamed up with dedicated Met volunteers to assist residents in signing up for Met Engage and filling out surveys about our local area and violence against women and girls (VAWG). Met Engage is a free platform that keeps you in the loop with local crime alerts, safety tips, and crucial information about your neighbourhood. Although we originally planned for door-to-door outreach, the train station spot turned out to be ideal for reaching so many residents during their daily routines. The feedback was incredibly positive! Thanks to everyone who took the time to chat and to our fantastic Met volunteers. Your voices are vital in helping us create a safer community.
