HELPING HORSES

On Friday 9th January we responded to a report of a horse loose on the mane road in Mile Oak.

The horse, named Alice, was trying to stirrup trouble by causing traffic chaos.

When such circumstances arise we deploy our neigh-bourhood officer PC Wakley who avoided having a mare by having the assistance of PC Harford and some thoughtful motorists.

Together they were able rein Alice in and get her back to safety.
