Best practice on what information we can use to deal with the problem of off road bikes and quads within the community.

How to report

For Non-Emergencies:

Call 101: The non-emergency number for your local police force.

Online: Use Cleveland Police website to find the online reporting form for anti-social behaviour or vehicle nuisance.

For Emergencies (Crime in Progress/Danger):

Call 999 immediately if you or someone else is in immediate danger, or if a crime is happening now.

What to report

Bike Details: Make, model, colour, any distinguishing features, and the number plate (if visible).

Rider Details: Clothing (helmet colour, jacket), approximate age, any known names or addresses.

Location & Time: Where and when the nuisance or illegal riding occurs (days, times, specific routes).

Evidence: Submit photos or dashcam footage if you have it.

Be Specific: More details help the police build a case

Don't Intervene: Avoid confronting riders yourself; it can be dangerous and make the situation worse.
