Horringer – appeal after attempted burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted burglary at a house in Horringer near Bury St Edmunds.

The incident took place between 6pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 7 January at a property along Manor Lane in the village. Intruders used a ladder to reach and then force open an upstairs window to break into the home. A search was then carried out but the suspects may have been disturbed. It is not believed anything was stolen.
