Suspicious circumstances

We are aware of concerns raised by residents regarding smoke from the industrial estate. 
we have been in regular communication with the fire service, who have attended the site several times over the past few days.

They have confirmed there are no serious concerns at this time, as the smoke is a result of a controlled burn being carried out by the owner of one of the units. The local council are aware of the activity. If you have any concerns about what may be being burned and or the times it is happening, then you can contact the local authority. We will continue to carry out patrols of the area as usual and remain in contact with our partner agencies.
