Speed enforcement by your local officers |

|
Dear Resident
During our recent local policing priorities survey the majority of respondents highlighted speeding as an issue in #Berkhamsted and #Tring. As a result of the feedback, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) have been out conducting checks over the past few days, to act as a visible deterrent and identify anyone driving over the limit. Roads highlighted by residents included: • London Road in Berkhamsted • Shooters Way in Berkhamsted • Kings Road in Berkhamsted • Durrants Lane in Northchurch • Aylesbury Road in Tring • Icknield Way in Tring • Station Road in Tring • London Road in Tring Speeding is among the four main causes of road traffic collisions resulting in death or serious injury, alongside driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not wearing a seatbelt, and using a mobile phone while driving. It's an issue we take seriously and we'll continue to carry out checks on varying days, at different times, to ensure our roads are safe for all. Please continue to provide us with information around where you witness speeding, as this will help us to focus our efforts. You can contact your local policing team through the ‘Your Area’ section of the Herts police website - https://orlo.uk/gVKfI ,or reply to this message.
As always thanks for reading.
Kind regards
