Botley man, 39, arrested in connection with Eastleigh business burglary

Last week, we appealed for your help in identifying a man we wanted to speak to in connection with a reported burglary at Leo Leisure Bingo, Leigh Road, Eastleigh.

During the incident, which occurred between 4.40pm and 4.50pm on Saturday 4 January, it’s reported that access was gained to an office and approximately £5,000 in cash stolen.

We can now update you all that a 39-year-old man from Botley was last night (Monday 12 January) arrested on suspicion of non-dwelling burglary. He remains in police custody at this time.
