Walk, Talk & Do Event : Thu 08 Jan 11:00; Emmott Close, E1

Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend your recent Walk, Talk & Do community engagement event at Emmott Close, E1. It was great to meet residents and hear directly about the issues affecting your neighbourhood. 

Residents raised concerns about drug users accessing and using the stairwell at the Emmott Close back entrance near Commodore Road. We would like to reassure you that this location has now been added to our regular patrol plan. Shared the Intel with other team members to improve awareness and enforcement. 

If residents have any further information – such as specific times of day, suspected drug dealing, or particular flats or locations of concern – please don’t hesitate to share this with us. Your information really helps us target our patrols effectively.

We also received concerns from residents of Louisa Street regarding vehicles stopping on double yellow lines, littering, drug use, and noise nuisance. These concerns have been noted and will be shared with partner agencies so that joint action and increased visibility can be considered to address this behaviour.
