🚨 Riverside Beat Weekly Round-Up 🚨
👋 Farewell & Welcome! We said goodbye to PC Fiona as she embarks on an exciting new chapter with the Australian Police. We’re thrilled to welcome PC Callum to the team – you’ll be seeing him out and about and on our future updates! 💥 Drugs Warrants Executed Our officers assisted the hotspot policing team with a warrant that uncovered a cannabis grow. Later in the week, we executed another warrant at student accommodation, seizing drugs, cash, weapons, and items linked to criminal proceeds. A 19-year-old male was arrested and is now on bail with strict conditions. ⚡ Public Safety First PCSO Jas and PCSO V responded to a dangerous live wire hanging across a carriageway – a serious risk to pedestrians and vehicles. They stayed on scene until Openreach secured it safely. 👮 Wanted Male Arrested One male was arrested on a court-issued warrant and spent the night in custody before appearing in court. 💬 Community Engagement Our PCSOs hosted an event at DMU’s Mental Health Café in partnership with Leicester City in the Community – creating a safe and supportive space for all. PCSO V also visited staff and visitors at the LRI Windsor Building, strengthening our community ties. As always, if you have any issues or concerns, please get in touch. Stay safe Riverside Beat Team #inyourcommunity #Riversidebeat #YousaidWedid
