What the team have been up to today |
||
|
Afternoon all!
Anther early turn and we were off out and about at the crack of dawn this morning.
First job for the PCSOs was to speak to some unruly café visitors who were turning up with their own food and drink. Why? No idea, but quite rude! Spoke to the manager and suggested some signs firstly, but the policing issue was when the groups were being asked to leave and were getting shirty.
All good and off to school patrols to make sure parents were not parking illegally. Everyone behaved, but we have had times when parents were parking on the hazard lines outside of school, which can be quite dangerous.
More Morden Town Centre patrols followed with some words of advice for people parking in the loading bay outside Greggs. For reference, loading your bellies doesn't count! Between 7am and 7pm that layby is for loading and unloading only.
A meeting with a resident about an ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) issue and another about someone knocking loudly on random doors concluded the morning.
Later on tonight, the rest of our teams will be stalking the streets looking for dangerous drivers and burglars, and we hope you don't need them!
As always, I include the survey for your thoughts!
Have a great day,
St Helier SNT
