Good evening everyone and welcome to our new users of Derbyshire Alert.

The snow is nicely melting thanks to the weather getting a little warmer, but this is causung a lot of surface water with large pools of water developing everywhere, therefore please be very cautious when driving.

A suspicious incident has been reported whereby snow- foot prints had been noticed at a home around Edward Street area in Overseal, on the evening of Thursday 7th of January during the large snow storm we had.

These foot prints were sighted at the rear patio doors and further around at another rear door.

The unknown offender potentially had climbed over the fence to access the garden.

No damage caused but please report any suspicious incidents by ringing 101.
