Burglary Alert & CCTV Request - Tonge Old Road.

Good Morning

Officers are currently investigating a report of Burglary reported to have occurred between 1530 – 1545hrs on Monday 5th January 2026 on Tonge Old Road, Bolton. Offenders forced access to the address by breaking through a locked rear  door. On this occasion nothing was stolen. 

The offence is being investigated by officers from the Bolton Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team, Neighbourhood Policing Team with support for Crime Scene Examiners and intelligence officers. From enquiries officers believe three offenders dressed all in dark clothing with face coverings have used a dark coloured BMW X3 Mk1 (Manufactured between 2003 and 2010). It is believed the offenders leave Tonge Old Road towards Bury Road via the Junction close to Trinity Methodist Church.
 

We would be grateful if people in the Tonge Old Road area of Tonge Fold could check any CCTV cameras around this time check if the vehicle or any suspicious activity has been captured.
