On 9 January 2026, Brent Council and the Met Police held a public meeting at Hillside Hub, giving local residents a chance to share concerns and hear what’s being done to tackle violence in the area. Acting Chief Inspector for Brent Neighbourhood Policing Team spoke about the recent incidents in Stonebridge, reassuring everyone that none of the incidents were linked and there’s no wider threat to the community. Officers and council staff listen, answer questions, and explain current safety initiatives. Refreshments were served, and the evening helped build trust and keep the conversation going between police and residents.
