Male Charged |
||
|
I wanted to provide you an update regarding Shoplifting, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. A well-known male, Danny Harris was arrested by local Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) officers for six shoplifting offences in both Northwood and Northwood hills has been charged and bailed to return to court in March for a hearing. Extensive enquiries were conducted by SNT officers to locate the male who was located on Joel Street, Northwood Hills. He is a prolific shoplifter who causes significant disruption on the wards through repeated shoplifting offences which are committed to fund a drug habit and contribute to drug dealing in the area. A Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) has been requested through the courts to prohibit him from entering Northwood and Northwood Hills. By seeking a CBO, the SNT aims to reduce shoplifting associated with Class A drug use and prevent drug dealers from operating on the streets of Northwood and Northwood Hills. If you have intel linked to shoplifter and where they might be seeing the good stolen, please let the Northwood and Northwood Hills SNT officers know. All information shared is confidential. Shoplifting is a crime that can have a substantial negative impact on local businesses across London. If you notice anything suspicious or witness anyone shoplifting, please report it as soon as possible. These reports are invaluable in letting us build a picture of when and where shop lifters operate, meaning we can be in the right place at the right time to arrest those responsible.
