Crime prevention stall at Goodmayes Retail Park

held a crime prevention stall today at Goodmayes Retail park. We focused primarily on how to protect your valuables and homes from burglary, and measures that can be taken to try and deter burglars. The team were also invited to the Fitya Centre to attend a youth gathering of 20-30 children. The children were bursting with questions which was great to see. It shows an interest in the police and what we do, non- stop hands raised by curious children who want to learn and understand what the police do on a day to day basis. It was great fun and we hope we were able to give a better understanding of policing to the youth within the community.
