Good afternoon, Fosse Villages! 👋
I hope you are all doing well and had a lovely start into the New Year! Myself and PC 904 Jon are ready to crack on with what's to come this year, make sure to keep an eye out for your local engagement event dates across the villages. 🥳 🎄 With the sudden massive extents of strange, white stuff falling from the sky and settling on the ground, some of us may be please to see that it's melting and already starting to disappear. Unfortunately this is also the prime time that we also see some stubborn patches of ice forming at junctions and throughout the more rural roads through out the villages. Please continue to take extreme care on these roads until it has fully melted. Just because you can't see white, doesn't mean the ice isn't there. Yes, I am referring to the infamous black ice that is periling our roads! Even at slow speeds cars can still lose control on these ice patches. ⚠️ ❄️ Whilst out and about today I also mysteriously bumped into a rather unusual gathering of red faced men...No they weren't embarrassed to see me on the beat, it was in fact the @497159526816189 celebrating their 40 year anniversary. It was so uplifting to see so many in high spirits, bringing the community together and having a sing-song and dance. No dance participation from me though...that would be criminal. 👮♂️ 🎺
