Reassurance patrols

Dear residents,

Officers have conducted reassurance patrols at specific locations in Barking, IG11, following reports of concerns within communal areas. These patrols are part of our ongoing work to provide visible policing and address issues raised by residents.

Awareness posters have been displayed inside the buildings and at main entrances to highlight police presence and deter anti-social behaviour. Information on how to contact your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team has also been shared.

We would encourage residents to sign up to Met Engage if they have not already done so. This platform is working well for us, as it allows residents to let us know about issues and concerns in their area, enabling us to deal with them appropriately and target our patrols where they are most needed.
