A cold morning in January

Good Morning Manor Park,

Officers were out and about on this cold January Saturday.

After chatting to several members of the public we paid a visit to Manor Park library where the lovely staff made us welcome and we discussed the issue of returning rough sleepers who have set up home outside.

We then spoke to members of our Jehovah Witness community, one of whom, Richard, agreed to have his photograph taken with us.

The Jehovah Witness community meet at the Kingdom Hall in Napier Road E6.

The Jehovah Witness community are one who, although most people may have heard of them, relatively little is known about.

Today was a good opportunity to initiate contact with a faith group who help form part of the rich diverse fabric of the borough.
