ASB incident involving snowballs. |
||
|
Dear Residents,
I’m writing to inform you of several incidents involving teenagers throwing snowballs at residential properties in the area, overnight on Thursday 8th January. These incidents were reported at approximately 9:00pm, midnight, and 1:30am.
While this behaviour may appear harmless, snowballs can contain ice, stones, or other debris and can cause injury to residents or damage to property. Late-night disturbances of this nature can also cause alarm and distress to those affected. In addition, we have growing concerns regarding groups of teenagers gathering and spending time on streets during the late evening and early morning hours. This behaviour raises safety and welfare concerns for both residents and the young people involved.
We are taking these incidents seriously. Officers will be conducting additional patrols in the area and will be engaging with young people involved. Where appropriate, parents or guardians will be informed, and further action may be taken if the behaviour continues or if any injury or damage is caused.
We ask parents and guardians to please speak with their children about the dangers and consequences of this behaviour.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our community safe.
Thanks
Gareth | ||
