Fly Tipping joint Operation with the Rural Operational Support Team

Dear Resident,

Thank you for responding to our Priority Survey reporting issues with fly tipping in your area. Today Officers in the Tring/ Berkhamsted Neighbourhood Policing team carried out a joint Operation with the Rural Operational Support Team in response to this under Operation AGRARIAN. 

A number of patrols were carried out in hot spot fly tipping areas highlighted from the data collected in the Priority Survey and a number of vehicles were also stopped to ensure they had appropriate waste licenses. Other rural patrols were conducted as part of this operation to reassure local residents in seldom heard communities. 

I have also passed this information on to other NPT Officers in Dacorum so these Operations can be extended to other areas also. Dacorum Borough Council are also on board with this partnership working and will be supporting us with future Operations.
