Officers have attended Bereavement Group and Coffee Morning at St Giles Church. Every Tuesday morning Place of welcome at St Giles Church, Walsall Street, Willenhall between 10am - 12pm, pop in for brunch, a brew and keep warm. All Welcome! Officers have attended Short Heath Primary School with Precious Lives to speak to Year 6 pupils about Choices, Consequences and knife crime. ASB We have had an increase in reports of Anti-Social Behaviour and youths setting fires around Western Avenue & Bentley West Park. We are working with partner agencies to try and resolve the ongoing ASB. Willenhall Officers have been out on patrol with the Community Protection officers. A few youths have been identified, we will be paying a visit to their home addresses, speaking to parents and warning letters will be issued. Whilst on patrol around Morrisons officers have come across a group of youths trying to set fire to magazines on the steps of the carpark. Upon seeing officers, the youths have made off, and no fire was lit. We have numerous reports of youths causing ASB issues around McDonalds. Willenhall officers will be actively patrolling this location. We have had numerous reports of youths throwing snowballs, officers have attended and several youths have been identified. The youths will be visited with Walsall Housing Group/ Walsall Community Protection team and warning letters will be issued . WEATHER ADVICE! It still cold, snowy outside and icy conditions. The roads are hazardous, so please take extra care when out on the road. Please only drive if necessary.
