Drink and drug drive campaign, the results.
A total of 24 arrests were made across the district during our Christmas crackdown on drink and drug drivers which ran from December 1st to January 1st.

Court result for male following a knife attact in Eastbourne.
A 59 year old man from Eastbourne, has been jailed for 32 years following a knife attack that left another man with serious injuries.
The victim suffered multiple stab wounds after being attacked outside his home.
Earlier this week he was convicted of attempted murder at Hove Crown Court.
Detective Constable Chris Smith said: “This man has now been jailed for this violent and frenzied attack which left the victim with serious injuries. This sentence reflects the gravity of his actions."
