After multiple reports of drug abuse, ASB and complaints from neighbours, officers from North Neighbourhood Team 3 have attended 17 Centaur Way, M8 9DN in company with Manchester City Council and members from Housing. This resulted in the occupants voluntarily terminating their tenancy and being placed in alternate accommodation, the address was then boarded up. However, the occupants returned; ripping the board off and multiple individuals were detained and arrested within for their involvement in drug supply. Officers have then attended again with MCC and Housing and removed the occupants, tinning up the property preventing further access. Repeat problem solved through partnership working.
