A Busy End to 2025 for Acton SNT

Acton SNT saw out 2025 in style — and by “style”, we mean a highly proactive New Year’s Eve operation to keep Acton Town Centre safe.

Barely minutes after leaving the office post‑briefing, PC SHARPE and PC VIN made the team’s first arrest of the evening. The eagle‑eyed pair spotted a well‑known street drinker who was wanted for failing to attend court after breaching his CPN. He was found beer in hand outside Morrisons and was promptly escorted to spend his New Year’s Eve in the exclusive hospitality of Acton custody.

Not to be outdone, only moments later PCs LOVEDAY and DALE located a group of drug users in the underground car park behind Morrisons. PC LOVEDAY detained a male on a bike for a Section 23 search. The individual seemed extremely keen to pedal away, and the reason soon became clear: a bundle containing 40 wraps of Class A was discovered tucked into his trousers. With the assistance of A/PS ZEALEY, the male was swiftly handcuffed and arrested — securing himself a room for the night in the same high‑security establishment as the earlier guest.
