Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to Report Burglary Other Between the afternoon of Tuesday 30 December 2025 and 4.00pm on Saturday 3 January 2026 in Maori Avenue, Hucknall, a garage door was forced but nothing was stolen. Between Thursday 1 and Sunday 4 January in Priory Road, Hucknall, an allotment was broken into, the gate being unscrewed to gain access, and an assortment of tools were stolen. The owner thinks it most likely happened overnight Saturday 3/ Sunday 4 January. Damage was also done to other plots. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle A report at 9.14am on Sunday 4 January in Belle-Isle Road, Hucknall, of a black Vauxhall Vivaro 2700 Sportive van being broken into. The van door was open and contents scattered all around. Theft Nothing to Report Violence against person At 3.39am on Friday 2 January at McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a male ran in to the building not happy about his order, jumped over the counter and threatened the manager, who locked himself in his office. The male stole four bags of food before running out and getting into a silver BMW estate car and driving off along Ashgate Road towards the High Street. The offender was described as 40/50 years old, bald head, wearing a blue top and a black or dark blue work jacket. Criminal Damage Between Tuesday 30 December 2025 and Friday 2 January 2026 in Orchard Street, Hucknall, the door to a rented garage was damaged and was off it’s runners so that it could only be partially opened. ASB At 5.55pm on Friday 2 January at the Hucknall Leisure Centre, Linby Road, Hucknall, a report of three/four white teenagers, 13/14 years old, wearing all black clothing, hitting balls with golf clubs from the park towards the glass windows of the swimming pool. No damage occurred. At 8.15pm on Saturday 3 January at the Tesco Extra Store, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a report of a male, dressed in black clothing and a balaclava, riding a red and white pit bike in circuits around the car park. The bike had no registration plate and the rider was not wearing a helmet. At 6.21pm on Wednesday 7 January in High Street, Hucknall, a group of around 15 teenagers were riding up and down the High Street on bikes banging and smacking the front door of a property as the passed. This is an ongoing issue.
