Dear Resident. What has happened? Between 7.45pm on the 6th January 2026, and 7.15am on the 7th of January 2026, unknown offenders have approached a property in Brailes Drive. The offender(s) have then opened the front door to gain access to the property. Once inside the offender(s) have removed keys to the house, and car from a bowl in the hallway. They have then left the property and closed the front door behind them. This has alerted the victim who was upstairs. The victim looked outside but no one was seen. The victim, then returned into the property. The next morning when looking outside they saw that their vehicle was missing from the drive. What are we doing? Officers have attended the location to conduct enquires , and gather any CCTV evidence. What can you do? Please ensure your property is secure. Check all access points are secured and locked. We recommend the fitting of anti snap locks to main access points. Always ensure that gates and fences to the rear of your property are also secure.
