E Scooters

On 06.01.25, officers attended a call involving a road traffic collision between a vehicle and E Scooter on Ffald Road in Pyle.  Thankfully the youth riding the E Scooter did not sustain any serious injuries.

Electric scooters are growing in popularity but there is a lot of confusion around where they can be used.

E Scooters are illegal to be used on any public roads, pavements or footpaths.   They can only be used legally on private land with the landowners permission.

If you use an E Scooter or have a child who is in possession of one, please adhere to the above. We would like to prevent any further incidents from happening.
