Women’s Safety Talk – VAWG Awareness Ilford Town Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team will be holding a Women’s Safety Talk focused on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) at the Cardinal Heenan Centre, Ilford. 📅 Date: Thursday 5 February 2026 The session will provide practical advice around personal safety, raise awareness of VAWG, and explain the support and reporting options available. Officers will also discuss how local policing works to improve women’s safety and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions or raise concerns in a safe and supportive environment. This event is open to all women in the community. Please do come along and feel free to share this invitation with family, friends, and neighbours who may find it helpful.
