Prolific Burglar Sentenced to 32 Months |

On 5 January 2026, a prolific offender was sentenced at Crown Court to a 32-month custodial term following a series of burglaries committed in October 2025. The offences involved the theft of property valued at over £7,500 from multiple victims.
The burglaries took place between 20 and 28 October, targeting five separate businesses within the City Centre. The offender was located and arrested in mid-November, after which the Crown Prosecution Service authorised five charges of burglary. He was remanded in custody until his sentencing on 5 January.
