Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Concern Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

We would like to inform residents that the Homerton Cluster Neighbourhood Team will be increasing early morning patrols across the wards over the coming weeks. This is part of our ongoing work to provide reassurance to the community and to proactively tackle incidents of phone theft.

Officers will be highly visible during these patrols and will be engaging with residents, commuters, and local businesses. We encourage anyone with concerns or information to speak with officers while they are on patrol.
