Reminder: Latimer Close Road Closure (Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th January)

Dear Neighbours

Just a final reminder regarding the road closure at the entrance to Latimer Close tomorrow and Thursday between 08.00 - 17.00hrs. 

Although the notice said they will endeavour to allow access where possible, if you need to use your vehicle between these hours then I would strongly suggest that you get it out of the close well before 8am tomorrow.  Hopefully the refuse collections will take place early as usual so will be done before they arrive.  
 

The work is being carried out by Thames Water and concerns sewage hatch maintenance.  I think this will be right on the bend as you enter Latimer Close as the inspection cover is in the centre of the road directly between number 4 and number 46, so it is particularly important that no vehicles are left parked in the road in that area.  

We will not know more until they turn up tomorrow morning when any one of us will have the opportunity to speak to the workforce involved for more information and I will keep you informed as much as possible via Neighbourhood Alerts and social media pages if I get more information.

School drop off and pick up:  This should really ONLY affect residents of Latimer Close however we are aware that many people use Latimer Close to park for dropoff and pickup for Holtsmere End School so please be aware that this will not be possible on these dates.
