Foot patrol (06/01/2026)

Rick and Lee were back out around Eastbrook School and Central Park this afternoon to deter opportunities for robbery (5.59 miles).

Starting out around the school, including Felhurst Crescent (p) and Eastbrook Avenue, Park Drive and over a mile of Central Park (3.44pm, p) was patrolled. While in the park, a scrambler bike made off after seeing the uniformed presence.

Rush Green's Legon (4.11pm), Horace and Philip Avenue were up next, before full coverage on the east side of Dagenham Road, which included Gorseway (4.22pm), Footpath 155 (4.33pm) and Lilac Gardens (4.47pm, p).

It was then back past Barking and Dagenham College (4.58pm) and Fels Field, along with the May and Baker Social Club.
