Overnight Crimes

Please see below for overnight crimes reported on Emerson Park.

Residential Burglary reported in Parkstone Avenue (middle section)

On Saturday 3/1/2026 at about 1840 hours, homeowner heard a noise upstairs and went to investigate. Upon opening the door to the master bedroom, there were x3 figures standing inside the bedroom, all wearing balaclavas. An untidy search of the bedroom had already taken place and a suspect was exiting through the window carrying a safe. The other two suspects began to throw handbags at the homeowner, as they began to panic and escape out the window. Homeowner was hit in the face during the suspects escaping out the back and it looks like they garden hopped back to Oakwood Chase, where their motor vehicle was parked. This is possibly a Black Clio, but no index plate was obtained. 

Suspects had climbed up onto a new outbuilding with a flat roof, at the rear and used force to push down a window (on the 1st floor), which lifts up and was locked, without breaking the glass. 

Please set house alarm upstairs, even if you are living downstairs at the time. You can also alarm every window on your house.

Theft Of Motor Vehicle reported in Hillview Avenue 

On Saturday 3/1/2026 sometime between 1600 - 1840 hours, the owner parked their Grey Toyota Rav4 VRM - WM19MZJ in Hillview Avenue j/w Butts Green Road. Upon returning to their vehicle, it had been stolen. 

Please use a steering Wheel Lock to deter car thieves.

There has been NO further overnight crimes reported on Emerson Park ward.
