Local Priorities Dangerous driving / speeding Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding dangerous driving and speeding, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Yesterday while out on Mobile Patrols we were able to stop a person who had no insurance and not entitled to drive the Car when speaking to the person it was found out that he had been driving for some time making deliveries of food around Hounslow area due to this the car was seized and taken to the car pound awaiting collection with fees added for its release. We are having another operation tomorrow where we will be looking at Speeding Cars and people causing issues around the Schools in regards to speeding and parking at the main gates and across peoples driveways.

If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner. Even momentary lapses in judgement can have life changing or devastating consequences for those in the vehicle or innocent bystanders.
