Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Good Morning Heston East and Surrounding Wards we wish to let you know that there has been concerns from Females and Young Girls over a Asian Male who has being paying a lot of attention to lone females in and around the local Under Ground Stations and the Bus Stops around the Local Parks and it has caused alot of stress and worry to them over their safety in these Early Winter Nights.
Due to that we have been able to investigate these incidents and have arrested a male for the offences and he is in the process of being charged. We understand the concerns it may have bought our Local Females and Young Girls in these areas and we want to let you know that any incidents where people feel threatened and concerns we will deal with and take steps to catch those responsible and charge them for their actions.
