Crime Prevention Stall : Tue 06 Jan 10am

Dear Met Engage Members,

Ilford Town Ward Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be carrying out a crime prevention engagement engagement stall outside Ilford Train Station on Cranbrook Road.

The stall will focus on providing general crime prevention advise, with a particular emphasis on pedal cycle theft, which remains a concern for commuters and local residents. Officers will be available to offer practical advise on keeping bicycles secure, recommending locking methods, property marking, and steps the public can take to reduce the risk of theft. General safety and crime prevention guidance will also be available for anyone wishing to speak with the team.

The engagement is part of the wards ongoing work to increase visibility, provide reassurance, and support the local community by sharing preventative advise and addressing concerns raised residents and commuters. Members of the public are encouraged to come also, speak to their local Safer Neighbourhood Team, and raise any issues affecting them in the area.
