Unfortunately, we have received a report of an attempted Burglary at an address on Kings Road ( near to the Junction with New Lees Street ) At around 02:30am on the 4th of January the victim has seen an unknown person enter their garden and attempted to gain entry into the property via the rear door. Offender appeared to be disturbed by the occupant who was downstairs at the time. The offender has then made off without gaining entry. The offender was seen to be carrying a backpack, and had a face covering.
