Dear Residents, PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted resident visits, issued CPWs and CPNs. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. This week we have been out visiting residents who are experiencing on going anti-social behaviour. We have gathered information around the issues they are facing, which we are now doing partnership work with the housing association to resolve the problem. On Friday 9th January we will be doing `Cuppa with a Coppa’ at the Mosaic Church Vauxhall Street. This will be a great way to meet your local PCSOs that work in your neighbourhood. You will have the chance to express any issues you are facing or discuss any information you have that you would like the police to know about. We hope to see many of you there. ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 3 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: We have been issuing more CPWs this week to those that have been identified in causing anti-social behaviour in your local neighbourhood. We have also been out issuing CPNs to those that have breeched their CPW. We have been having a lot of frosty mornings. We sent out a prevention message earlier this week, make sure you have a read. Always stay with your vehicle when defrosting your vehicle. Never leave it unattended with the engine running. Drive safely and be careful. GREAT NEWS: Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields. Street Watch Team is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live. Street watch gives you and your community an opportunity to keep your area safe.
