Plain Clothes Shoplifting Operation Coulsdon High Street

On Sunday 04/01/2026 Officers from Coulsdon Town and Old Coulsdon Police teams conducted plain clothes patrols on Coulsdon High Street, targeting shoplifting. Officers were also placed in CCTV rooms within Boots, Waitrose and Tesco's to monitor any suspicious activity. 

The teams have conducted a number of these operations recently and shop staff reported a reduction in shoplifting offences.
